Steel bristles can damage finishes. Do not use the steel brush on Cerakote, chrome, zinc, painted or other coated surfaces unless the bar manufacturer explicitly permits it. A stainless steel shaft does not automatically mean a steel brush is suitable.

Routine cleaning
Begin with your bar manufacturer’s current care instructions. Nylon is the starting point for routine chalk removal. Use a cleaner or oil only where that manufacturer permits it; keep cleaning liquid out of the sleeve junction.

Both kits include a 2 fl oz / 59 mL bottle. Its label directs 2–3 drops spread with a stiff nylon brush, left overnight, then wiped. Use that method only where compatible with your bar’s care instructions, and remove excess before lifting.
Oil label safety: DANGER—May be fatal if swallowed. May cause drowsiness and dizziness. If swallowed, immediately call a poison center or physician. Do not induce vomiting. Store locked up and keep out of reach of children.
